Enrollment Step 3 - Apply for 金融援助
Need help paying for college? To qualify for grants, 贷款, work study opportunities, and Lottery Tuition Assistance, your next step is to submit the online Free Application for Federal 学生 援助 (FAFSA).

金融援助 help is available in the format that works for you.
- Prior to starting the FAFSA, you will first create your FSA ID at studentaid.政府.
- Once you have your FSA ID you will then begin completing your FAFSA at fafsa.政府. The program will walk you through the process.
- 当提示, use Greenville Technical College’s school code – 003991 – so that the results will be sent directly to us.
If you have already completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree, you can opt to submit a FAFSA waiver. 联系 financialaid@itemspecialties.com 的信息.
- The FAFSA must be submitted to receive all federal aid, SC Lottery Tuition Assistance, and most scholarships.
- You should complete the FAFSA every academic year that you need help paying for college (academic year includes Fall, 春天, 及夏季学期).
- The FAFSA is available every year beginning October 1.
Submit your FAFSA by the following GTC Priority dates in order to receive financial aid before the tuition payment deadline:
秋季- 5月1日
春天 – October 1
Summer – February 1
For in-person assistance with the FAFSA, visit the computer lab in the 学生 Success Center (Bldg 102) on the Barton campus.
Remember to check your college Gmail account regularly – this will be the primary communication channel for official information from Greenville Tech.
